    Don’t wear in the rain ☔️ but still love it

    I love this coat but I got caught in a downpour and to say my clothes everywhere underneath were wet was an understatement, such a fab coat in all other ways but you can only wear on a dry day

    Hey Sheila,

    I'm sorry to hear about this situation with your jacket!

    Our Tasman does have a DWR coating applied to provide some water-resistance, but it's not sealed at the seams so it isn't water-proof.

    However, if the water no longer beads on the fabric, you can re-apply a water-resistant coating by using a third party water-proofing product. This should help provide some more resistance during any unexpected downpours :)

    Tasman Recycled Jacket

    Jacket is incredibly light and is a lovely quality however it was very unflattering on my body shape. I am a 10/12 and ordered a M. The size was huge and looked quite shapeless on my figure. Maybe a size down would have been better. Unfortunately I had to return it.

    Sorry to return

    Beautiful cosy long jacket but it was too big. I am a size 10 and already have a size 10 Passenger Jacket but the S swamped me. Also the Fir Green colour on the website is much lighter green than the actual jacket. Black is no good as it makes me look washed out ! Such a pity. I will keep looking

    Stylish and Functional

    First, the color! This pistachio color is so pleasing to the eyes. It is a beautiful green/blue pastel. Then there is orange accents like the interior and hood adjustable cords. The fit features such as the fitted cuffs, zippers at the bottom side hem and adjustable hood make for ultimate comfortability when wearing it. I like that it is zipper and button closure so you can pick one or both. Warmth is a 10 out of 10. The sherpa interior in the hood and chest make for extra warmth up top and the length keep your legs warm. The feel of the jacket is like wearing a sleeping bag in a good way. I do not want to take it off when it is on. It can be hard to find a big winter jacket that you feel attractive in, comfortable in and can function in but this jacket hits all of those marks. Size: Medium Height: 5' 4" Chest: 38" Hips: 40" Fit: Slightly oversized allowing room for additional layers like a sweatshirt/sweater without any restriction in the shoulders/arms and sitting without unzipping
