Place tape measure under your arms around your back and across the centre of your chest.
Measure around the narrowest point basically just above your naval keeping the tape slightly loose.
Measure the widest part of your hip. Make sure you keep your feet together when measuring.

First and last purchase from Passenger for me. The cut of this is atrocious as another reviewer wrote the neck is just ridiculous. Either terrible qc or just bad design. Fleece fabric feels horrible and smells. Simply awful

I'm a women's size 10 and I got a men's medium for a baggier fit. I was very glad I did as the fleece is quite short in length and although it's loosely fitted, I imagine on the average medium man it would be quite snug! There's also a little hole in the sleeve and some loose threads all over, which was disappointing. It was a late Christmas present though, so I didn't want to ask the buyer to send it back, and I do like it. Definitely size up and check the quality.
