I was very picky about what coat I wanted. Needed the chest handwarmer pockets (they’re the best), two way zip, thigh-length, and warm but not too insulated. This fit the bill perfectly. My measurements were between L (bust), M (waist), and XL (hips), so I went with a Large; the chest/shoulders are pretty huge and I probably could’ve done a Medium overall, but this works enough to keep! The sherpa lining isn’t my favorite as it attracts lint so quickly, but it wasn’t a deal breaker. Overall the jacket seems well made and is very attractive.

This is my first new winter jacket in 5 years so I really took my time reading through the reviews. I am very glad I went with a L, I am 5' 6" (167cm) athletic and I wanted it to be roomy, plus reviews said its a bit narrow on the legs, which it is but the double zipper helps when sitting on the train but doesn't restrict movement when fully zipped. It is extremely waterproof having walked 40 minutes in steady rain in Glasgow to work. It looks smart, it's more a grey charcoal than black but that suits me! It is also veryyy warm, and windproof as well. I would say if you're in anything below -5C you will probably need another layer but when you're walking it does keep the heat in very well without overheating and keeps you toasty when you stop. My first passenger purchase but will definitely be coming back :)
